I like your new future plan. Anything that keeps you alive and well and your special contributions flowing would definitely be a very good thing!

I would love to read your weekly comments on current events, and welcome your take on how to view the latest from a liberal perspective. Thank you for taking care of yourself! I am still in the left politically, in spite of all the damage I’ve personally witnessed because of far left ideology. I need your wisdom, Helen, to help navigate this crazy mess that we find ourselves in here in the U.S. So thank you 🙏 for sticking around (with boundaries!).

I'm glad for you & your family that you don't have cancer & wish you well with your health plan, plus work & social media boundaries. They sound wise, especially now that you're turning 50. I'd also love to read your weekly comments Helen. Your clarity & wisdom are much needed in today's world.

Well done Helen! Yes, please find balance and boundaries and return to health. We need your mind and voice, and your family needs your all-ness. I love Glinner's weekly updates, I think a round-up is a great idea. Happy Birthday! 💛

Great news Helen. We will follow you wherever you go and whatever you do, and regardless of how many hours per week you do it.

Congratulations on the reprieve! I also applaud your sensible plans to take care of your health. I had a similar wake up call last year and fought back successfully. Now I'm in excellent shape and never felt better. It can be done! No gimmicks, just local, fresh food (very low carb works for me and eliminates junk) and lots of fresh air & exercise outdoors. Social media can definitely be an addiction, so let us know how your moderation plan goes. So glad for your good news and looking forward to reading your always worthwhile missives in whatever format works best for you.

Happy birthday!!🎉

Happy Birthday!!

The only way I can manage Twitter is via a thoroughly anonymized account AND limiting my tweets to the occasional attempt to insert some additional nuance. And, even there, if it's a topic I feel particularly emotional about, I'll type my tweet then delete it without ever posting.

Anything else and I'm wrecking my mental & emotional health arguing with people who really couldn't care less about me.

I'm very glad you don't have any very serious health issues. I will also say that I made the decision to improve my health and habits 2 years ago and I am stronger today at nearly 51 than I have ever been in my life. My blood pressure and other measurements have also improved significantly. The best part is that I'm now part of a gym community of women from their 20s to 80s who are all active and leading full lives.
